Cathrine Disney

Cathrine Disney is a graduate of MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins, London. She is an interdisciplinary artist, desinger, researcher, writer and curator exploring the blurring boundaries and entangled relationship between materials, emerging technologies and the human species.
The age of the biotechnological (r)evolution, the dawn of the Anthropocentric epoch and the current state of global politics; Cathrine is investigating what it really means to be human in these uncertain times.
By creating emotive narratives around objects or artefacts from present, near and far futures, Cathrine intends to raise important questions about the ways in which we live in our contemporary consumer society.
